Job summary

RadNet in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams while monitoring patient safety and comfort. You will administer contrast safely and guide patients through complex imaging procedures, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring ARRT CT certification (or eligibility), state licensure as applicable, and at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure requirements may apply; ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• BLS certification may be required depending on state regulations
• Minimum of one year diagnostic imaging experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and respond to any discomfort or medical issues.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through procedures and address questions/concerns.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Maintain professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient\'s well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
