Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians in Kentucky is seeking a Float Advanced Practice Provider to support the Primary Care division.

The role involves floating between offices to assist with patient panel needs, out-of-office coverage, and leave coverage, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians. This APN/PA will perform assessments, diagnose, prescribe, treat, and educate patients, while adhering to state practice guidelines and maintaining EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Current State license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant.
• APRN or PA degree required and clinic experience.
• Ability to obtain KY/IN licensure for scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status by health history and EMR documentation.
• Perform physical exams and order appropriate tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans within guidelines.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with physicians.
