Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a qualified APRN to join our PRN 2nd/3rd shift team, including shift differential.

The Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care under a physician through a collaborative practice agreement, conducting assessments, ordering and interpreting tests, and developing treatment plans. You will document findings thoroughly, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or PA-C in the state where work is performed.
• Must have SEH medical staff privileges as an allied health professional.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care including assessment and treatment planning under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other health care professionals.
• Document all treatments and outcomes in the medical record in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care across teams.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and clinical protocol adherence.
