Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for rotor-wing operations nationwide. This full-time role requires an AP license, FAA knowledge, and flexibility including 24/7 on-call rotations. Starting salary ranges from $63,960 to $93,288 plus IA and float stipends and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

The AMT will perform inspections, document FAA information, manage inventory, and coordinate with the Lead Technician to ensure safe, timely patient transport services.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (AP) license.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock and update the equipment tracking log; document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policy while complying with security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate with departments, vendors and team members to coordinate efforts.
