Job summary

Global Medical Response through Med-Trans is seeking a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in San Angelo, TX. This full-time role supports Bell 407 and EC135 airframes, ensuring safe maintenance and timely patient transport services.

Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $113,480 annually, with sign-on bonus and stipends. Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance planning and collaboration with flight teams, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bell 407 and/or EC135 maintenance experience.
• 3 years turbine helicopter maintenance; last 24 months include 6 months.
• Valid A&P license and state driver’s license.
• FAA knowledge and EMS/maintenance systems.
• Flexible schedule with overtime and on-call rotations.
• FAA drug/alcohol testing program compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including inspections, repairs and status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory, update logs and process part replacement requests.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policy.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment for aircraft maintenance and crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
