Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Branch Flightline Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations in support of the 89th Airlift Wing's executive airlift mission. You will lead flightline personnel, coordinate training, and ensure FMC status through MOCC and program managers.

The role requires FAA A&P certification and security clearance, strong leadership, and hands-on management of a 98-personnel flightline team with a focus on safety, documentation, and on-time maintenance execution.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft and flightline maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical publications and data.
• FAA A&P Certification required.
• Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Must obtain and maintain a flightline Driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to all flightline personnel.
• Plan and schedule training for maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate maintenance with MOCC to ensure FMC.
• Review aircraft records and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Supervise 98-person flightline and 18-person expeditor team.
• Ensure safety, tool control, FOD awareness, and compliance with HAZCOM/HAZMAT.
• Address QA/CORS findings and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain 781 forms and CAMS documentation.
• Assist in requisitioning parts and repair channels.
• Ensure proper ground safety for servicing and handling.
• Oversee OJT and cross-utilization training.
• Provide annual performance reviews and weekly scheduling meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
• Manage Programmed Depot Maintenance inputs for FMC readiness.
• May TDY or travel and cover for Aircraft Branch Manager/SAM-4.
