Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a detail-oriented Flight Turnaround Operations Coordinator to oversee aircraft turnaround activities, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers typical airline ground handling responsibilities, including inspections, checklists, incident reporting, and coordination with ramp personnel.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Previous experience in flight operations or ground handling.
• Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities during aircraft turnaround to ensure compliance with the Turnaround Plan and safety regulations.
• Conduct aircraft arrival and departure visual inspections and complete required checklists.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures for all turnaround personnel.
• Report and document all incidents, accidents, and irregularities, including airline-required paperwork.
• Confirm with the Ramp Supervisor that loading is complete and aircraft holds are clear.
• Communicate applicable flight information to the Captain and allocate delay reason codes as necessary.
• Manage any disruptions to the Turnaround Plan and ensure smooth coordination.
• Complete CLC planning, Movement of Aircraft reports, and all relevant flight reports.
• Adhere to WFS site security protocols, remaining aware of staff, contractors, and visitors while reporting any security concerns.
