Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking Flight Test Technician 3/4 to support Test and Evaluation. Onsite positions with potential 4x10 or 3x10 schedules across multiple shifts.

Willingness to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed. Required: High School Diploma/GED with 4 years related experience; active Secret Clearance; ability to obtain SAP; physical ability for moderate strenuous work and access to confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience.
• Related experience in aircraft electrical systems, structures, composites, aircraft systems, and flightline operations.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshooting, removal, installation, modification, and maintenance of aerospace systems including fuel, hydraulics, ECS, flight controls, propulsion, landing gear, CNI, and ground support equipment.
• Operate ground equipment, aerospace systems checkout, perform pre and post-use inspections, service fuel, lubrication, cooling, and other requirements as necessary.
• Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions to fabricate and assemble fixtures/components.
• Execute testing in accordance with direction provided by senior technician/engineering staff.
• Conduct tests and report data in prescribed format using predetermined methods and setups.
