Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Flight Test Technician 2/3 to support development, fabrication and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components and sub-assemblies. This role involves setting up test stands, working with hydraulic lines, sensors and data acquisition, and collaborating within a Specialty Test Team.

The position requires active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation, flexibility for shift work, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or ability to obtain SAP prior to employment.
• Experience in flight test, structures, hydraulic parts or related assemblies.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development, fabrication and assembly of mechanical and electromechanical components and test stands.
• Load train assemblies and test devices to measure push/pull and stress.
• Follow test methodologies and document results under supervision.
