Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Test Electromechanical Engineer in Palmdale, CA to lead test development and execution for aircraft systems. The role bridges systems engineers and production teams, ensuring safe, efficient testing across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains.

The candidate will develop ATPs, lead TRRs, and provide real-time support, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in STEM with relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in a system test environment is required.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
• Ability to obtain PAR within a reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATPs, test schedules, and integration test procedures.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and support testing activities.
• Serve as technical expert for aircraft systems across disciplines.
• Coordinate with design/analysis teams to define data requirements and ensure proper execution.
• Participate in post-test data evaluations and resolve discrepancies.
