Job summary

Raytheon Technologies’ Flight Test Operations team is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Next Gen Testbed program hosted on a modified Boeing 737-800. You will support flight test systems engineering, aircraft modification activities, and integrated diagnostics to enable safe mission execution.

You will collaborate with design, program engineering, and operations to resolve technical challenges, develop test procedures, and contribute to reviews and customer updates during onsite work at

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years in related field.
• Decomposing specifications to system performance, interfaces, I&T and V&V requirements.
• Experience with integration and test procedures, troubleshooting lab and system issues.
• Experience working on SAP/classified programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful integration and testing of system payloads to meet flight test schedules.
• Collaborate with design and program engineering teams to meet flight test requirements.
• Develop system requirements and test procedures for safe, reliable airborne payload integration.
• Develop technical documentation and install/remove flight test systems on aircraft.
• Update configuration lists and integration support procedures for aircraft modification.
• Support integration with maintenance, engineering, and operations to meet RTX flight test objectives.
