Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Flight Test Planner to balance operational demands with capacity constraints and deliver timely scheduling decisions for A320/A220 flight activities. You will collaborate with FTE, GTE and Pilot groups while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in aviation, strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with travel up to 20% and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautics or engineering preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of aviation industry experience.
• Previous experience in a Flight Crew Scheduling Department.
• Demonstration of soft skills: communication, situational awareness, workload management.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Flight Test team representative in scheduling meetings with MAP, Flightline, and Quality teams.
• Manages schedule through TimeBox to maximize Flight Test support for A320 and A220 activities.
• Ensures information flow between Aircraft technical group and Production flight test team in Mobile.
• Plan resources and crews for all stakeholders to support flight activities.
• Coordinate communication between Production/Quality/Engineering and Flight Test for support requests.
• Produce clear KPI and technical reports for upper management.
