Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL seeks a Flight Test Planner to coordinate scheduling for A320 and A220 programs. You will balance operational demands with capacity, working with Flight Test, MAP, Flightline, and Quality teams to ensure safe and efficient flight test activities.

The role requires a proactive self-starter, 3–5 years in aviation, and fluency in English. Onsite work, 10–20% travel, and collaboration with production and engineering are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautics or engineering preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of aviation industry experience.
• FAA dispatcher certification - preferred.
• FCC Radio license (or) ground control experience - preferred.
• FAA pilot certifications or international equivalent - preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Flight Test scheduling with MAP, Flightline, and Quality teams.
• Manage schedule through TimeBox to maximize Flight Test support for A320 and A220 activities.
• Ensure information flow between Aircraft technical group and Production flight test team in Mobile.
• Organize and oversee Flight Test department team meetings.
• Produce clear technical and KPI reports for upper management.
