Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Test Pilot to develop, certify, and demonstrate leading aerospace technology. You will work with a high-performing team to deliver accurate, repeatable, and cost-effective data for engineering groups across variety of aircraft including turbine-powered types.

Travel may be required. The role requires extensive flight test experience, FAA ATP certification, and a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams during flight tests.
• Proficiency in documenting test results and flight test plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight tests to evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Develop and execute test plans, techniques and procedures.
• Plan and dispatch transport category aircraft for tests.
• Analyze test data and provide improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare test reports and technical documents.
• Assist with marketing and demonstrations for customers.
• Conduct familiarization, demonstration, proficiency and evaluation flights.
