Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Associate or Experienced Mechanical Systems Flight Test Engineer to support the MQ-25 program in Patuxent River, MD. You will plan, execute, and analyze flight tests for the MQ-25 UAV and act as liaison between the St. Louis mechanical systems team and Pax River flight test team.

Required BS in Engineering and 2+ years (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3) of related experience; ability to obtain US security clearance; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials)
• Level 2: 2+ years related experience or equivalent
• Level 3: 5+ years related experience or equivalent
• Must be able to obtain US security clearance (citizenship required)

Responsibilities

• Flight Test Planning: develop and execute detailed flight test plans for MQ-25, including objectives, methodologies, and safety protocols.
• Flight Test Execution: participate in flight tests, troubleshoot issues on site, coordinate with systems team as needed.
