Job summary

Client Test & Evaluation seeks an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support Flight test in Tukwila, WA. The role centers on leading assembly, planning, DFMA analysis and integrated build plans for multiple aircraft programs, ensuring design conformance and manufacturing readiness.

The engineer coordinates with design, procurement and test teams, develops build instructions and sourcing plans, and supports during build/installation to meet schedule and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry; ABET preferred
• 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent
• ABET accreditation preferred in the USA (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Participates in program IPTs to integrate technical solutions
• Leads and coordinates with Test Project Management, Design Engineering and IE to develop build plans
• Develops manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions and illustrations
• Coordinates with fabrication and procurement teams
• Tracks part status and shipping with supplier management and MMO
• Drafts and updates ME processes and tools for Flight test programs
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimates
• Leads integration of suppliers, processes and materials for delivery requirements
• Mentors ME team through training materials and tutorials
