Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Flight Test Engineer / Test Conductor to join the 416th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, CA. The role spans associate, career, or senior levels, focusing on planning, execution, and reporting of flight tests for military platforms.

You will author test plans, schedule resources, lead mission briefs in the Mission Control Room, and perform post-test reporting while mentoring a team of discipline engineers. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering is required.
• Willingness to adapt to changing roles for customer needs.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Mature and professional; able to lead flight test missions and oversee engineers.

Responsibilities

• Author and review ground and flight test plans and test cards.
• Schedule resources and coordinate with engineering teams and external agencies.
• Lead test mission briefs as a Test Conductor and execute test missions.
• Complete post-test mission reporting requirements.
