Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Flight Test Engineer/Test Director for Edwards Air Force Base, CA to conduct and direct flight tests of emerging Remotely Piloted Aircraft platforms and mission systems avionics.

The role emphasizes understanding aircraft architecture, subsystems, and data collection while coordinating with test ranges and engineering teams. The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience, a TS clearance, U.S.

Qualifications

• Required: 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Clearance: Top Secret required and U.S. Citizenship.
• Experience with flight test, systems avionics, and mission control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and conduct flight test missions for emerging RPA/ISR platforms.
• Support test program for design reviews, scheduling, and liaison with test ranges.
• Lead generation of post-flight mission reports and formal documentation.
• Develop as Flight Test Engineer with long-term objective to lead flight test missions as Test Director.
• Collaborate in a team environment and adapt to evolving customer requirements.
