Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support the SCS Flight Test Team at Patuxent River, MD. You’ll assist in test planning, develop procedures, analyze test data, and report results, collaborating with the Flight Test team across shifts.

Requires a Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 8 years of related experience (or a Master’s with 6 years) and an active US Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 8 years related experience or Master’s with 6 years
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance required
• Experience generating technical documents and using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and programming languages
• Understanding of Test Engineering methodologies and practices

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, execution and peer review of test procedures
• Participate in Formal and Non-Formal Test events
• Participate in test planning, problem report validation testing, and post testing data analysis
• Provide support in the creation of required test artifacts
• Lead moderate size test efforts in support of Flight Test leadership
• Attend and participate in all Flight Test meetings
• Willing to support multiple shifts and odd hours to accommodate testing efforts
