Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks Principal and Sr Principal Flight Test Engineers to support the SCS Flight Test Team based at Patuxent River, MD. You will oversee test planning, write procedures, analyze post-test data, generate reports, and lead moderate-sized test efforts with a strong emphasis on teamwork and schedule discipline.

Candidates must hold a STEM degree with required years of experience and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline required; 5+ yrs experience or Master’s with 3+ yrs experience.
• Active US Government Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience generating technical documents using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other programming languages.
• Understanding of common Test Engineering test methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, execution and peer review of test procedures.
• Participate in Formal and Non-Formal Test events.
• Contribute to test planning, problem report validation and post-test data analysis.
• Create required test artifacts.
