Lockheed Martin Aeronautics seeks an experienced Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) System Design Engineer for the F-35 program. You will architect and develop instrumentation systems for test aircraft, leveraging extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities include integrating requirements, programming data acquisition equipment, supervising installation, checkout, calibration, and ensuring data can be displayed, processed, and analyzed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
• At least 8 years of related, professional experience.
• Ability to develop, test, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems and other instrumentation devices is required.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and tools, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other common laboratory equipment.

Aufgaben

• Integrate requirements and program new instrumentation data acquisition equipment, FTI fiber system, analog and digital signal conditioning hardware during integration and flight test.
• Work independently or lead a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.
• Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, and maintain configuration control and mission capability of the instrumentation system.
• Support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for all scheduled missions. Interface with test ops, maintenance, and management to ensure all instrumentation requirements are coordinated.
