Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze developmental and operational test events for aircraft, UAS, and related systems for DoD customers. The role requires multi-disciplinary engineering, test design, and data analysis across lab, ground, and flight test environments.

The position supports complex test plans, verification methods, and reporting; travel to testing ranges may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• 5 years of full-time relevant experience in test design, execution, or data analysis.
• Experience with radar, EO/IR, acoustic, EW, or unmanned systems is preferred.
• Experience in a leadership role on military or defense projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide test-driven development for DT and OT programs including lab and flight tests.
• Develop and execute test plans, verify objectives, and report results.
• Lead technical reports and presentations; coordinate with sponsors and teams.
• Identify and diagnose system failures; support CONUS/OCONUS testing.
