Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support test planning, data analysis, and troubleshooting of ground test articles and flight test vehicles. You will coordinate testing with various engineering disciplines and contribute to readiness reviews and post-test reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of FAA-certification test experience, with strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on aircraft troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• 2+ years of test experience on FAA Certification programs.
• Ability to work effectively in small teams.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems within integrated systems.
• Experience working in dynamic, R&D environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience on aircraft or in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish detailed test plans for flight and ground test events.
• Coordinate reviews and test planning with test pilots and engineers.
• Interface with test article design teams to define configurations and data requirements.
• Generate test safety hazard analyses.
• Assist in test card development and review with other engineering disciplines.
• Support test readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefings.
• Conduct tests and assist other test engineers with real-time analysis.
• Record and track test article squawks and issues.
• Perform post-test data analysis and evaluation of test success criteria.
• Participate in hands-on aircraft troubleshooting efforts.
