Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Aerospace, Transportation and Advanced Systems Lab seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to contribute to DoD test and training range software. You will lead design, development, and deployment efforts, collaborating with sponsors and end users to ensure robust architectures.

You will implement scripting and automation using Ansible/PowerShell, support virtualization and system deployment, and operate within secure, scalable environments to meet program

Qualifications

• 5 years of software development experience.
• 2-4 years of systems engineering/design experience.
• 2+ years of small team leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain secret clearance.
• Ability to implement solutions without access to AI tools when required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate product or system requirements gathering with sponsors and other key stakeholders.
• Verify systems engineering product life-cycle components to include definitions, requirements analysis, synthesis, systems analysis and implementation.
• Conduct product or system design synthesis translating requirements into physical architectures for systems of moderate complexity to include defining and refining internal and external interfaces.
• Develop and contribute to technical reports and diagrams detailing product or system attributes.
• Analyze product or system functionality as defined by requirements.
