Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Flight Test Engineer – Test Conductor in Berkeley, MO to support F-15 flight tests for international and domestic programs. Qualifications

  • Work and manage different programs concurrently
  • Support the maintenance team with flight preparation sheets as required
  • Support distributed test operations as required
  • Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers
  • Develop flight test and mission profiles, develop and publish test plans, create flight test cards, and manage test schedules
  • Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies
  • Establish test planning working groups, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews, and conduct pre and post-test briefings
  • Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures
  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution
  • Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports
  • Lead and prepare for remote site deployments
  • Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
  • Apply lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures
  • Oversee debriefing of the test team
  • Approve test data prior to delivery to customer
  • Formulate expectations for test data based on historical data
  • Work under minimal direction

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Organization is looking for a Flight Test Engineer – Test Conductor in Berkeley, MO to support F-15 flight test programs, including Qatar, Saudi, Korea, Japan, Israel, Singapore, and future F-15 programs. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Flight Test Engineers – Test Conductors.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25-50% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • 1+ years of experience working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test environment
  • 1+ years of experience authoring test plans and/or test cards
  • 1+ years of experience executing tests in a control room environment as a flight test engineer (FTE), test conductor (TC), and/or test director (TD)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • Experience with military aircraft (USAF or USN) and/or mission systems
  • Experience operating and/or maintaining aircraft (e.g. student or private pilot license, aircraft maintenance experience, etc.)

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $85,000 – $115,000

Summary Pay Range for Experienced (Level 3): $103,700 – $140,300

Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
