Job summary

CNA Corporation in California is hiring Flight Test Engineers to join the Advanced Technology Assessment (ATA) Division. The position requires a STEM degree, at least three years of test-related experience, and an active final Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive work experience in test planning, reporting and analysis.
• Active final Secret security clearance is required at time of hire and the ability to maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate test requirements to develop flight test plans.
• Provide mission control room support during flight test missions.
• Maintain metrics and report on status of testing; conduct initial analysis of flight test results and hand-off data.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and test operations personnel in design and execution of tests, data analysis, and reporting.
• Draft reports and technical papers on developmental/experimental flight testing; compile, reduce, format, analyze, and present test data.
• Provide SME support to sponsors, project directors, Research Program Directors, and Division VP on leadership, personnel, and readiness.
• Work independently and proactively within scope of assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
