Job summary

Bombardier's Flight Test Center in Wichita, KS seeks a Flight Test Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to join the Flight Operations group. You will fly on test missions alongside Test Pilots to support testing, instrumentation, and data collection.

The role provides hands-on experience with Part 25 certification workflows and collaboration across engineering, maintenance and program teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, technical environment.
• Experience with IT tools; programming for automation is a plus.
• Willingness to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with flight test planning, readiness, execution and reporting.
• Operate test equipment and record results aboard test aircraft.
• Coordinate testing activities with engineering, maintenance and other teams.
• Prepare test documentation, plans, and post-flight reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.
