Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 1+ year relevant experience or equivalent
• Excellent academics (GPA ≥ 3.0) as a general guideline
• Demonstrates proficient use of engineering and flight test tools
• Demonstrates basic understanding of certification processes and related regulations
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Capability to perform advanced troubleshooting on moderately complex avionics installations

Responsibilities

• Drafts ground and flight test plans and reports for moderately complex test programs
• Coordinates and executes flight tests as part of a crew, including acting as test director
• Defines and maintains test aircraft and equipment configurations and coordinates with engineering
• Operates flight test tools, analyzes real-time data, and post-processes flight test data
• Identifies root causes and ensures issues are resolved during flight testing
• Prepares avionics installation data for test aircraft and supports certification activities
• Mentors less experienced flight test engineers and contributes to process improvements
