Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Principal Test and Evaluation Engineer in Dayton, OH to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of AFRL technology demos. You will provide flight test expertise to USAF/Space Force, support development of test processes, and coordinate at flight test ranges.

You will engage with government/contractor teams, ensure risk-aware planning, and communicate results to senior leaders. A DoD TS/SCI path is essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years of flight test engineering, planning, and execution.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force flight test instructions and policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight test engineering expertise to USAF/Space Force for R&D and testing of new tech.
• Assist AFRL with development of developmental/operational flight test processes.
• Coordinate test planning and execution at applicable flight test ranges.
• Create test plans, collect data, and analyze flight test results.
• Offer technical recommendations and mitigate project risks.
• Travel up to 20% for test events and exchanges.
