Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
• Strong flight-test fundamentals including planning, instrumentation, data reduction, and safe execution.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, tooling, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute flight tests to evaluate vehicle performance, control behavior, and system reliability.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering and flight test operations, translating requirements into test objectives and feedback loops.
• Analyze flight data to assess dynamics, control performance, and subsystem interactions; provide actionable insights.
• Develop Python- and SQL-based tools for flight data visualization, trend detection, and performance assessment.
• Use SIL and HIL environments to validate software updates, control algorithms, and sensor integrations.
• Identify and quantify failures, performance deviations, and reliability trends to drive root cause analysis.
• Contribute to test plans, procedures, and reports, maintaining traceability to requirements.
