ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Mountain View team. You will integrate boards, sensors, actuators, and communication links into subsystems for aircraft and ground stations, document interfaces, and bring up new boards with firmware and test code.

You will plan verification from bench to flight tests, contribute to component and sensor selection, and triage complex issues across hardware, firmware, and communications with cross-disciplinary

Formación

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering
• 3+ years in embedded systems, hardware/software integration, or test
• Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware and test tooling, plus Python
• Strong knowledge of CAN, SPI, I2C, UART
• Able to read schematics and debug at signal level with test equipment
• Experience writing requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria
• Ability to support flight test needs and rapid debugging at flight test facility
• Clear technical communication and cross-disciplinary teamwork

Responsabilidades

• Integrate boards, sensors, actuators, and communication links into subsystems for aircraft and ground stations
• Define and document subsystem requirements and interfaces (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, BLE)
• Bring up new boards and hardware revisions; write firmware and test code
• Plan and run subsystem verification from bench tests to flight test
• Contribute to component and sensor selection and trade studies
• Triage integration and field issues across hardware, firmware, and comms, collaborating with multiple teams
