You will modify and configure aircraft and ground control stations to meet test programs, execute ground tests, and support flight test activities for fleets including MQ-1C Gray Eagle, MQ-9A Reaper, MQ-9B SkyGuardian,

Qualifications

• Requires two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency with two+ years in aviation/electronics.
• Must troubleshoot at component level and use electronic test equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices.
• Knowledge of computer applications, operations, and networking.
• Ability to read/interp technical drawings, schematics and orders.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft and ground support equipment for test operations and sustainment.
• Support test teams for test and development efforts.
• Modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment for modifications and test efforts.
• Correct discrepancies by removing, repairing, or replacing defective parts in avionics and ground systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and functional checks on aircraft and ground systems; disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Operate test equipment to locate, diagnose, and repair parts; document findings.
• Fabricate, upgrade, route, and install wiring harnesses.
• Support flight test activities at various locations; participate in flight lines and data collection.
• Cross-train into other disciplines; perform other duties as assigned.
