Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a systems engineer to help design and manage the next generation of autonomous UAVs, including terminal guidance and long-range intelligence. You will work on Anvil, Altius, Ghost platforms and lead cross-functional collaboration to drive complex electro-mechanical and aero-performance trade-offs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in systems or aerospace engineering, hands-on prototyping, and scripting experience (Python, MATLAB). A U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-grad experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks (Python, MATLAB, etc).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. Secret security clearance or higher required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and define system requirements and architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting performance goals.
• Test and debug software for reliability, scalability, and distributed environments.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers for integration.
• Document software processes and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
