Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring systems engineers to design, develop, and manage next-gen unmanned aerial systems. You will work on end-to-end autonomy stacks, collaborate with hardware teams, and ensure software-hardware integration across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, testing, and documenting processes to meet regulatory requirements and reliability goals for flight platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-grad industry experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• Prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance, or higher.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for an end-to-end solution with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting functional and performance requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging for reliability, scalability, and resilience of software in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers for seamless software-hardware integration.
• Document software engineering processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
