Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond seeks an engineer for the Starlink flight software team. You will design, develop and test software that controls SpaceX flight and ground systems, owning the full lifecycle from development to operation on a continuous mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software development experience.
• Development experience in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Strong fundamentals in software design, testing and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable autonomous software for space vehicles and ground systems.
• Design software for both flight hardware and supporting ground infrastructure.
• Build prototypes and analyze system metrics to validate key concepts.
• Own all aspects of software development, from design to flight operations.
• Provide strong technical leadership and drive continuous improvement.
