Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to support the Landsat 10 mission under the OMES III contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. The role requires hybrid on-site work and the ability to obtain a NASA badge.

You will design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain mission-critical flight software for spacecraft avionics, participate in reviews, and collaborate with NASA civil servants, flight software developers, systems engineers, and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience developing software for embedded or real-time systems.
• Experience across the complete software development lifecycle from requirements through acceptance testing.
• Experience with structured engineering processes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded flight software for spacecraft avionics.
• Support all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, unit testing, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance.
• Develop software for real-time spacecraft applications operating on embedded processors and flight-qualified operating systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, mission operations personnel, and software assurance teams.
