Job summary

ispace Technologies, US, Inc. in Englewood, Colorado, seeks a Flight Software Engineer to develop high‑reliability embedded software for spacecraft operations, with focus on real‑time systems, hardware interfaces, and the NASA cFS framework.

You will own FSW from requirements to verification, work with international teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and support mission critical phases while ensuring robust testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C for embedded applications.
• Experience with real-time systems and hardware interfaces.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting (Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• End to end ownership of FSW from requirements through verification and real-time operations.
• Develop production-quality C code for embedded software within the NASA cFS framework.
• Design real-time software for command processing and telemetry in memory‑constrained environments.
• Work with PREEMPT‑RT Linux, device trees, interrupts, and system initialization.
• Own CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance with verification artifacts.
• Collaborate with international teams across Japan, Luxembourg and the U.S.
• Develop FSW operations procedures and interface control documents.
• Support spacecraft operations by monitoring telemetry and analyzing performance.
