Castelion is rapidly advancing defense technology and seeking a Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, and test real-time embedded flight software for missile systems. You will work with GNC, systems, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration and high-reliability performance in safety-critical environments.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and a track record in testing with simulation and HIL.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/EE/Aerospace or related field.
• Experience with real-time embedded flight software.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS.
• GNC systems experience.
• Ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Experience with simulation and HIL testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded flight software for missile systems
• Collaborate with GNC, systems, and hardware teams for integration
• Implement and maintain software for high-reliability, safety-critical environments
• Support simulation, HIL, and flight testing to validate performance
• Participate in root cause analysis and debugging across interfaces
• Follow rigorous software lifecycle practices including config management and verification
• Contribute to defining and improving development processes, tools, and standards
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in flight software and real-time systems
