This hands-on role emphasizes solving hard problems, rigorous verification, and collaboration across software, GNC, hardware, and systems teams. Top-Secret clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: open to all levels; internships, research, or hands-on work considered.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and RTOS.
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration and real-time system constraints.
• Experience with GNC systems or control-intensive apps.
• Strong testing practices including simulation and HIL environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
• Active or eligible for Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test real-time embedded flight software for missile systems.
• Collaborate with GNC, systems, and hardware teams for integration.
• Implement and maintain software for high-reliability, safety-critical environments.
• Support simulation, HIL, and flight testing to validate performance.
• Participate in root cause analysis and debugging across software and interfaces.
• Follow rigorous software lifecycle practices including configuration management and verification.
• Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and standards.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices.
