Lumicity is partnering with an aerospace startup to develop the next-generation sensing technology for space applications. We are seeking a Flight Software Engineer to own onboard software powering mission-critical systems and operate directly on embedded hardware in demanding environments.

The role requires 5+ years in flight/embedded software, expertise with Embedded Linux and C++, and strong hardware/software integration, debugging, and testing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of flight/embedded software engineer experience
• Embedded Linux and C++ development
• Hardware/software integration, debugging and testing, with experience bringing up embedded systems

Responsibilities

• Develop onboard software for embedded hardware used in space-grade applications
• Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to validate and bring up flight software in real environments
