Job summary
A leading aviation training provider in Texas is looking for a technician to provide realtime support for flight simulators. The role involves preparing simulators, performing maintenance, diagnosing issues, and logging all work. Candidates should have a DEC in a relevant field, experience with software modification, and excellent communication skills in both French and English. Knowledge of Windows, Unix, C, and C++ is critical. Flexible schedules and employee benefits are offered.
Qualifications
Related experience in software and electronic modification/manipulation.
Familiarity with basic electronic theory and principles.
Understanding of hardware/software interactions as they relate to aviation simulation.
Responsibilities
Provide realtime phone support to address technical issues on training center flight simulators.
Prepare the simulator for customer training, including performing preflight tests.
Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies in a timely manner.
Log all work regularly in a CMMS.
