Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Technician I to perform day-to-day maintenance on aircrew training devices including WST, BOT, FuT, and PTT systems. You will follow manuals, receive guidance from senior technicians, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of flight-simulator experience, a HS diploma or GED, and knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree in electronics or completion of VoTech Simulator Maintenance Programs is highly desirable.
• One to three years of experience as a flight simulator technician or equivalent is desired.
• Knowledge of aviation/avionics systems is highly desirable; electrical and mechanical theory; digital/analog computers; circuit boards and ATS field replaceable units.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on aircrew training devices (WST, BOT, FuT, PTT, Learning Center).
• Follow detailed instructions and obtain guidance from supervisors as needed.
• Localize and replace defective parts; trace circuits using diagrams.
• Maintain documentation and track repair status in the logistics system.
• Provide basic device system and subsystem support; learn device requirements and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
