Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components in aircraft flight simulators. You will install and test panels, wiring, and power systems, working with engineers to ensure proper documentation and performance across diverse simulators.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on experience, AS in Electronic Technology or avionics, and proficiency with Windows, UNIX, and common test equipment.

Qualifications

• AS in Electronic Technology, avionics or related field.
• 4+ years of experience or equivalent Military training.
• Proficient with Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair and test simulator panels, instrumentation and power distribution systems.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and software engineers for documentation and performance.
• Work with power systems up to 480VAC and troubleshoot complex turbine/simulator electronics.
• Set up test apparatus and perform functional, environmental and life tests.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams and repair/replace components as needed.
