Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair full flight simulators and associated systems at the Fort Cavazos campus. You will perform corrective maintenance, conduct routine tests, and support instructors with training devices and classrooms.

Qualifications

Technical College Degree with 4 years of related experience in maintenance and operation of full flight simulators.
6+ years hands-on related work experience in the maintenance and operation of full flight simulators.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform corrective maintenance to maintain simulator availability.
Maintain and repair training devices and multi-media classrooms.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced technicians.
Coordinate with FAA or regulatory authorities to ensure compliance of simulators.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and tests.
Support instructors and crews in operation of training devices.
