Job summary

Veraxx Engineering Corporation, a By Light Company, is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee complex defense programs from planning through execution. The role requires DoD experience, scheduling and budgeting expertise, and leadership to coordinate engineering, logistics, and finance teams. The successful candidate will manage subcontracts, lead proposal efforts, and ensure risk-mitigated delivery in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8 years in DoD acquisitions or training systems management.
• Experience planning, scheduling, budgeting, tracking and execution of complex projects.
• 5+ years in program planning, reviewing a SOW, and supporting execution.
• Knowledge of DoD Acquisition process and familiarity with RFPs.
• Experience developing and managing budgets and IMS schedules in MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative aspects of a technical program/project.
• Negotiate goals with management, customers, and stakeholders.
• Plan activities, assemble a team, and direct tasks to meet goals.
• Create program schedules and budgets, monitor progress, adjust plans.
• Communicate status and plans with customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources and manage subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Lead proposals for U.S. Government and prime contractors.
