Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Engineer Aeronautical – Flight Sciences Integration to support the Flight Sciences discipline within the Vehicle Engineering CoTE. This role partners with the DPTO to deliver processes, tools, and training to elevate technical excellence across the sector.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, 25% travel, and experience in Flight Sciences analysis methods and multi-disciplinary team environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM required; Master’s or PhD preferred depending on level
• Experience in Air Vehicle Flight Sciences and Controls within an IPT environment
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required (or eligibility) and ability to obtain PAR
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work with multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams

Responsibilities

• Support strategic vision and technical priorities for the Flight Sciences discipline
• Develop processes, tools, and training with the Flight Sciences DPTO
• Collaborate with NG Fellows to advance technologies and workforce capabilities
• Maintain Flight Sciences PrOPs, PAL manuals, and Nimbus Process Models with program teams
