Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineer Aeronautical/ Principal Engineer Aeronautical – Flight Sciences Integration to support Flight Sciences within the Vehicle Engineering CoTE. You will drive discipline processes, manuals and training to elevate technical excellence across Sector and Enterprise teams.
The role requires collaboration with the DPTO, a passion for digital design, and the ability to travel ~25%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM with applicable engineering experience as described.
- Experience with Air Vehicle Flight Sciences and Controls within an IPT.
- Experience with flight sciences analysis methods, tools, standards and processes.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance required with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic vision and technical priorities for Flight Sciences discipline.
- Develop process, tool and training content to raise technical excellence.
- Collaborate with NG Fellows to advance emerging technologies.
- Maintain PrOP, PAL manuals and Nimbus Process Models with program teams.
