Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Engineer Aeronautical – Flight Sciences Integration in El Segundo, CA to advance Flight Sciences across the Vehicle Engineering CoTE. You will help develop processes, manuals, and training to elevate technical excellence and ensure compliance across programs.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience (or more with advanced degrees). Some travel (~25%) may be required, across CA locations and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of related engineering experience or Master’s with 0 years.
• Experience in Air Vehicle Flight Sciences and Controls within an IPT environment.
• Experience with Flight Sciences analysis methods, tools, standards, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic vision and technical priorities for the Flight Sciences discipline, aligned to Sector strategy.
• Partner with NG Fellows to advance sectorwide and enterprise technologies.
• Develop and maintain Flight Sciences PrOP, PAL manuals, and Nimbus Process Models.
