Peraton in Fort Belvoir is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to own the integration and verification of Flight Safety systems, ensuring data sources and interfaces are correct and robust around the clock.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead anomaly resolution, and participate in flight safety reviews and operational exercises, shaping how mission-critical tools operate in space domain awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace systems integration across multiple degree pathways.
• Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph required.
• 3+ years working with Flight Safety or astrodynamics systems (e.g., STK, ASW SuperCombo).
• 4+ years space operations, conjunction assessment, or flight safety systems integration.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for verification and data analysis.
• Background in national security space mission environments.

Responsibilities

• Own integration and verification of Flight Safety systems across legacy and next-generation architectures.
• Design, execute, and document integration test plans and acceptance procedures.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for verification and data analysis in Linux classified environments.
• Lead anomaly resolution and mentor junior engineers.
• Represent the integration team at readiness reviews and operational exercises.
• Create and maintain integration documentation and training materials.
