Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer in Fort Belvoir to oversee integration and verification of Flight Safety systems. This role involves collaborating with engineers and operating in mission-critical environments to protect national security assets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orbital mechanics and astrodynamics, possess an active TS/SCI clearance, and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities include designing test plans and leading verification processes to ensure mission readiness. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years experience without a degree or 10 years with an Associate's degree.
• Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph required.
• Experience in flight safety or astrodynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and verification of Flight Safety systems.
• Design and document integration test plans and procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-launch integration verification.
